February 25th – 29th

Well…3rd quarter interim reports come out this week.  I hope this lights some fire underneath all those students who are not working up to their potential.

I’m still planning on an animoto.com project.  Recently, the district integrated our computer system over to a Microsoft based log-in.  Unfortunately, every student has a user name and password.  This causes a major headache when you bring a class of 25 students to the computer lab and they have all forgotten their user name and password.  The project might also hit some speed bumps since our district blocks every single usable website.  I’ve got “my people” working on knocking that firewall down.

Here’s the schedule for the week:

 Monday, February 25, 2008:

MIRP

CNN Student News

Review Quiz

Tuesday, February 26, 2008:

appeasement, demilitarized, conscription, Anschluss, Munich Pact, Rome-Berlin Axis, D-Day

Winston Churchill, Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Douglas MacArthur

Place to Go:

Video Clips

Friday, February 29, 2008:

Be sure to keep your DO NOWs in order this week…hint hint…wink wink…

  1. I had the problem with user names and passwords so I made my own list to keep on hand with all this info. It helped save a lot of time when we started a project.
